The first Christmas design

I am slowly building myself up to the Christmas season with todays mani. A little glimpse of baubles on the tree. I used silver polish from Collection 2000 as a background and my magic acrylic paints for the rest. The bronze glitter on the top and voila :)

This is my first design for this Christmas and I am sure I will paint more.
Thanks for stopping by.

  4. How do you do them? I think i am going to have to get paint instead of nail polish, they use it at the salon too. How do you get them to be so perfect? i make a lot of mistakes still.

    1. Your thoughts are correct sweetcanadian. I use nail polish for backgrounds and topcoats but most of the detail work is done with acrylic paint. You need good quality acrylic from a stationery or art store but they neednt be expensive if you shop around. And you will need good brushes, this is important. I get mine online but the same places that sell the acrylic should stock the brushes as well, the finer the better. Finally you need lots of practice and a steady hand, I can't help with that I'm afraid! Do a little shopping, have a go and let me know how you get on :)
